We had a great Christmas and look forward to a great 2011!

Ella

Fun Times

Ella loves playing with all of Addison's dolls (mainly because that's what Addison loves to share with her). It's cute...

Then we're working on the potty training with Addison. As you can see, she's mastered putting them on (her head that is)! She's getting there but not quite there yet! She's sure got the spirit though!

5 months old!

"Little" Ella is now 5 months old! She is an eating machine-she just keeps growing and growing and doesn't seem like she's our "baby" anymore - but we still call her "Our Baby Ella" (as Addi once used to)! She has fun playing in all her play toys and has recently started eating rice cereal-yummy-she loves eating (I repeat!) Addison is especially excited to see Ella sit up! Addison gets pretty excited about all the new things that Ella does but watch out Addison-soon she'll be into your toys!!! Then life might get real interesting!

Halloween Fun

We had a bumble bee bzzz'ing around and a kitty purring in our house for Halloween. Addison wasn't a big fan of the scary costumes or masks but was determined to keep Trick-or-Treating because as she said, "Get more candy!" Ella was a trooper and loved being bundled in her costume all cozy and warm as we went around the neighborhood.

Addison had a Halloween party with our Mom's Group/friends. They are friends we met at the hospital when she was born and we all still get together with the kids and just the Mom's too (alone at times). It is really fun-all the kids are about 2 years old (within 2 months of each other).

12 weeks old

Our little girl is growing up too fast! Here's a word from Ella:

I love watching my sister dance. My Dad makes me laugh with his funny faces he makes at me. I love sucking my fingers (not my thumb). I still love to sleep 3 hours at a time (my Mom says I need to work on that!) My favorite thing is I LOVE eating, that's maybe why I like to wake up every 3 hours! I am a good napper though and love to be swaddled tight. I just learned how to hold my rattle by myself. I can sit up in my Bumbo sit for a bit. I can't wait to start "playing" with my sister! I get to hang out with my big sister and her friends on playdates, which is always entertaining. My Mom is going to be home with me for one more month and then my Dad gets to be with me through January. That's all for now!

Fall Fun

We have been spending lots of time with the gorgeous weather outside this Fall. Check out our pictures from High Cliff State Park, Little Farmer, and the fire station and more.

Viva Las Vegas!

Ella got to go on her her first flight to our friends, Amy and Nick's wedding in Las Vegas. Addison stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa Mauk and had fun with them. Ella got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Baier in Vegas and with us. We were thankful both Grandmas and Grandpas were able to help us out so much and we were able to have a great trip and enjoy the fun wedding festivities as well as Vegas! Our friends Becky and Mark made the trip with us as well as their son and our Godson, Maxwell. Ella and Max tore up the town together!

Big Smiles!

Ella has more and more smiles every day. Addison seems to get her to smile the biggest usually!

Ella's Baptism

On Sunday, September 26th we had Ella's baptism. When the pastor brought her around the congregation to introduce her to everyone, she put her arm up, as if she was waving! It was pretty funny. We all enjoyed spending time with our families too.

Birthday Fun!

Addison turned 2 on September 8th! She had a fun at her birthday party. She loved it when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She also especially enjoyed her cow cake. She's been talking about a cow cake on her birthday for the past month or two!

About a week ago, Addison as well as the rest of the family, visited the Packers training camp. Addison seemed to be fairly interested in watching the players practice and was especially hoping to see Donald, our favorite Packer but the up, close and personal time didn't happen this time. We did however make an appearance on the Fox 11 news. Addison's big line was her Packer cheer, "GO PACK GO!" We couldn't be more proud of her as Packer fans, have to train them early!

1 Month Old

This past month has gone by so quickly! We are all doing very well. Ella has been keeping busy with us (playdates, wedding in Chicago, petting zoo's and much more...) and goes with the flow! Addison is still loving her little sister for the most part-she is just "overly helpful" at times which we can't really complain about. Enjoy the pictures, Ella has changed so much already.

Home Sweet Home

Here are some photos to enjoy of our newest family member, Ella. She is so precious and Addi is such a good big sister. She calls Ella "my baby Ella" and has lots of love for her (so far anyways)! We are happy to be home and all doing well.

Summer Fun

We are having a great summer. Every day brings new adventures...among Addison's favorites are the zoos, pools, and parks! Usually each morning when she wakes up and we tell her what we'll be doing that day, she asks to see the cows! (That's her favorite I guess!)

We're looking forward to Baby Baier's arrival in the near future! Addison is ready as far as we can tell. She's been a great helper getting her little sister's room ready and transitioning into her "big girl bed" in her room. We think she'll love being a big sister and will really love her sister but who knows how she'll handle sharing the attention. I'm sure she probably won't love that part!

We sure can't wait to meet little Baby Baier though. Watch for blog updates as we believe it could be within the next two weeks!!!
