We had fun at the Little Farmer! Addison enjoyed picking out apples and pumpkins, watching the animals and walking on a corn maze.

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Addison!

We waited SO long for Addison's arrival and now it's hard to remember what life was even like without her! She fills our lives with so much joy and shows us she sure was worth the wait. This past year has been filled with so many precious memories and milestones.

We celebrated her 1st birthday with family and her godparents on Saturday, Sept. 7th. She really enjoyed her big day. She wasn't sure about eating the little elephant cake her Mom made for her but sure loved playing with it. She had fun opening up her all of her cards and presents too!

Addison, we never will take for granted how much of a miracle you are and we love you SO much! Happy 1st Birthday Addison Hope!!!

Look Who's Walking!

Addison latest and greatest is she has learned how to walk! She gets quicker and quicker each day. It's just amazing to see how she keeps growing up! Her little personality is really starting to show.

It seems her favorite place to walk is into our closet. She loves to throw herself into our clothes. My clothes is on the bottom and is at a perfect height for her I guess. Then she looks at us and laughs!

We can't even believe soon she'll be 1!

Green Bay Packer Training Camp (with Donald Driver)!!!

Yes, it's that season, Training Camp for the Green Bay Packers is always a part of the summer that is so much fun. This year (well, this is just our first visit) but Addison went with her Mom, Becky, and Sam. We had a blast.

In short, Donald came and gave me a big hug and I asked to get a picture. Well, that's when the mob scene happened but we managed to get a picture of Addison and Donald. He was so sweet. Addison really just was busy studying him like, "So, this is Donald, OH!"

We also had our picture taken by a photographer from the Green Bay Press Gazette (check them out online - www.greenbaypressgazette.com (under photo gallery - Training Camp Tuesday, August 4th morning). They are cute as well!

We had Addison's pictures taken at 9 months. We couldn't decide on which ones to purchase so we ended up buying the copyrights and now we have them all! She's only 9 months once, right!?!

Summer Fun

Addison is 9 months old. We had a fun start to Summer already. She went to the Dells with her aunts, uncles and cousins and loved the water park.

We also got to join up with our Mom's Group friends again. We go to the park and do many other fun things together.

Today we got to watch our little girl master crawling across her bedroom for the very first time (usually she gives up)...Way to go Addison! She also can walk along furniture too. It is time to baby proof EVERYTHING! She's fast-it's so fun watching her grow right before our eyes.

We've had a great start to my new summer "job", being a stay-at-home (summer) Mom! And Larry has one month of his family leave (he saved for Summer) so he'll be with us too starting in a week!

Our First Family Trip

Addison loved her first vacation getaway to Florida. We spent the last 6 days in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. She (well, all of us actually) loved the warm 80's weather, spending time at the beach and the water excursions.

6 Months Old Already!

Addison Learns a New Trick...

Addison's new trick is to sit up by herself. She has been trying very hard for the last few weeks but she's little Ms. Independent now. She really doesn't tip over anymore expect for when we really put her toys (or any objects for that matter) out of her reach and she leaps for them and tumbles over.

She also figured out how to get out of tummy time! She learned that if she just rolls over (immediately-) when put on her tummy, she can solve that problem! It's pretty funny.

I think we'll soon be Addison-proofing our house because she'll be into everything real soon! We just love her so much. Our only complaint is she's just growing up way TOO fast!

5 months old

Just a quick update on our "little princess." My niece Claudia wanted Addison to try on her little tiara and I think she loved wearing it (just for the picture).

Addison is enjoying "drinking" sips of water from her sippy cup. She can hold the little handles and bringing it to her mouth although we're not too sure how much she is really actually drinking. It's fun to watch!

She is such a good sleeper and just loves being read to, listening to music, talked to, swinging, bouncing in her jumper, playing with ALL her toys. Oh yes, and eating!!!

18 weeks old

Addison is getting tired of all this cold weather. She convinced us we needed to book a trip to Florida over Spring Break to enjoy some warmer weather. So, we went shopping and she picked out a cute pair of sunglasses, we're all set to go! (Well, I'll let you know if it turns out to be that simple-hee-hee)! We had to try them out on her and pretend we were somewhere tropical so I guess we'll have to continue to do that until March.

She is now rolling from her front to her back and vice versa now too. She just learned how to take her Nuk out and put it back in her mouth by herself as well. She also loves to play with her feet and toes!

Addison loves going to her sitter's house and her son too. We call him her "boyfriend" - Larry says she can't kiss him though until she's 30. I don't know - just the other day when Larry dropped her off, they were already holding hands. Michelle said they just love to play and interact with other throughout the day. It is fun she has a little playmate and Michelle is great with Addison also. We're so thankful all is well!

Happy New Year!

We want to wish everyone a Happy 2009! We had a great 1st Christmas with our new addition.

We started feeding her rice cereal (as she'll be turning 4 months in a week) and is ready for some food! She really enjoys food (just like her Mom and Dad) as you can see.

You also might notice in the pictures she has some "new teeth" that came in, hee-hee! No, not really but our friend Charlie Andrews thought this would be the perfect nuk for Addison...Billy Bob style!
