Addison turns 4!

Can't believe Addison is 4 years old! After watching her baby video (on her birthday), she said to us, "I can't wait to be a Mom and have a baby!" She's 4 going on 34 sometimes:) We had her birthday party last weekend and she had a great time with everyone.

She also had a birthday play date with our Mom's group and all the kiddos (inside because it was raining so the park didn't end up working out) but we had actual party games (like Duck, Duck Goose) so that was fun anyways!

On her birthday she choose to go to Bay Beach where we had a great end-of-the-summer hurray on the rides. (Well, Lauren slept most of the time so almost everyone.) We ended the day with Applebees for dinner and a huge ice-cream sundae. When I asked her what her favorite part of her birthday was she said, "Spending it with you!"That sums up Addison (most times anyways); she's a super sweetheart!

Our Little Sunshine

Lauren is 3 months already. She is rolling over and just today, found her toes already (actually during her 3 month photo shoot!) Her smile lights up a room and her little personality is super sweet! In fact, Ella nicknamed her "Sunshine," which sums it up nicely.

Funny Stuff!!!

Last week I ran to the freezer to get out dinner for that evening and brought Lauren with me. Addison and Ella were playing nicely together (which doesn't always happen 100% of the time:) downstairs in their playroom. I literally ran the food upstairs and approx. one minute later, Ella came up the steps. (I quickly had to take a picture because it was pretty funny - esp. Ella's expression!) I couldn't even believe it...

Here I thought Ella wrote on herself (because she likes to paint her nails with markers BUT Addison later shared with me, she decided to put "make-up" on Ella! Needless to say, "washable" markers really aren't very washable - everyone at dance enjoyed Ella's markers about one hour after this happened! It took about 3 days to fade...but this memory won't:)

More Summer Fun

We have had such a great summer. Here are some pictures from various places we visited the past few weeks: Storybook Gardens in Sheboygan (which is a neat place to visit), Mulberry Lane Farm, the Milwaukee County Zoo, and Packers Training Camp!

Little Miss Lauren 2 Months Old

It's hard to believe how fast summer is flying by and then especially to think Lauren is 2 months old already! She is soooo smiley and happy! Of all three girls at two month checkups, she weighs the least and is the tallest. She is so long she fits into 6 month clothes already-she really needs to slow down and stay a "baby" for a little longer though:) 

Ella is 2!

 

Although we already had a birthday party for Ella we celebrated her birthday with some mom friends' and their little ones on her actual birthday. Then we enjoyed a local children's artist (singer) in the park who the girls love to hear. She enjoyed the rice krispy treats and running around at the park! Ella is growing up so quickly...she is loving her jazz/ballet/tap classes this summer. (She fits into the same outfits as Addison!) We are so proud of her with her potty training. She is one determined and little independent girl and a very loving sister (to Lauren always and most of the time Addison too:).

Point Beach

We met my family at Point Beach for the day. After the girls had fun with their cousins, aunt and uncles and Grandpa and Grandma swimming and playing on the beach for the afternoon, we found out there were high levels of E. Coli and a warning had been issued!!! We were all fine though and did not get sick...whew!
