Point Beach

We met my family at Point Beach for the day. After the girls had fun with their cousins, aunt and uncles and Grandpa and Grandma swimming and playing on the beach for the afternoon, we found out there were high levels of E. Coli and a warning had been issued!!! We were all fine though and did not get sick...whew!

The Combination Baptism/Birthday Party!

Sunday, July 22nd we celebrated Lauren's baptism and Ella's 2nd birthday. It was a nice celebration. The big sisters were excited to be a part of the service...Ella even had to give Lauren a kiss while she was being baptized (she also almost pulled my skirt down too)!

We had all of our family join us so we figured it was best to have Ella's birthday celebration the same day as well. She is still talking about blowing out her candles on her "2" Oreo Cookie cake!

Lauren gives us lots of smiles these days and we have even heard her giggle a few times already. The girls find that especially fun!

Lauren - One month

It has been so hot so Lauren has enjoyed the indoors lately. She continues to have two very loving sisters who LOVE to "help" with baths, diaper changes, and playing with her much of each day. It is really neat to see them all interact but at times, their "helpfulness" becomes more challenging than helpful but we'll take it! We are so thankful they are so loving to her. Lauren is now recognizing us and starting to smile. The girls especially find that fun!

Welcome Lauren Elise!

Another little miracle joined our family on June 4, 2012 at 3:04 a.m. Lauren Elise was 8 lbs., 3 oz. and was 20.75 inches long. She has two very loving sisters who can't get enough of her...they kiss ALL the time and always think it is there "turn" to hold her. Larry and I are lucky when we get our turn:) She had a little scare initially and needed some medical care when she was born but after getting intabated, she was perfectly fine. (The doctors said if she were to get an infection it would set in after 24 hours or so which never ended up happening thankfully.) Lauren has an easy going little personality so far and loves to sleep, eat and cuddle! We are all so happy to have her join our family (even Bailey)!
