Welcome Lauren Elise!
Another little miracle joined our family on June 4, 2012 at 3:04 a.m. Lauren Elise was 8 lbs., 3 oz. and was 20.75 inches long. She has two very loving sisters who can't get enough of her...they kiss ALL the time and always think it is there "turn" to hold her. Larry and I are lucky when we get our turn:)
She had a little scare initially and needed some medical care when she was born but after getting intabated, she was perfectly fine. (The doctors said if she were to get an infection it would set in after 24 hours or so which never ended up happening thankfully.)
Lauren has an easy going little personality so far and loves to sleep, eat and cuddle! We are all so happy to have her join our family (even Bailey)!

Memorial Day 2012
We enjoyed the Memorial Day parade. The girls loved the marching bands especially (well, probably not quite as much as they loved getting the candy). We had to take a family picture (as it might be the last picture we have as a family of four:) Well, then again-maybe not...I had another doctor appointment today and things haven't changed in the past week. He estimates her weight to be 8.5 pounds so we're just hoping she's not getting too big:) I still feel great and can't complain though...hopefully in our next blog update, she'll be in the family photo as well and not my belly anymore!

Bay Beach Bums
We took a trip to Bay Beach for the first time this season. The girls loved all the rides and had a great time ... (except for when Ella stood up on one of the slower paced rides and had to stop it!) Both of them seemed to really loved the pony ride the most though!
We are anxiously awaiting Baby Baier's arrival! I am determined to let her pick her own birthday so time will tell! The doctor thinks I won't be going past my due date. I'm not so sure of that so we'll see:) He feels the baby is weighing about 7 pounds now.
The girls visited the Birth Place (at the hospital) last weekend and took a special personal tour. The nurse hooked me up to the heartbeat monitor and they got to listen to Baby Baier's little heartbeat. Ella was adoring the babies in the nursery and blew them kisses. It was a good sign to us maybe they both are ready to be great BIG sisters! We'll keep you posted on our news!

Frogs, Toads and Turtles

We went to Memorial Park today. We saw more frogs, toads and turtles than you can imagine! (Like probably 40 of them!) There were some nice boys who would catch them and let us examine them and then put them back in the water. Both girls were just giggling and then the giggles turned into belly laughs when they would jump all over the place.

Ella Moves Out!
Over Spring Break, Ella made her big transition to her "big girl bed" and moved out of her crib and in with her big sis, Addi! While things aren't perfect (Ella still feels the need to body slam her bed and giggle at times while falling asleep), she has successfully napped all week and slept at night. I think Addison while doesn't necessary "love it" yet, she is happy to have company and someone to talk to:) Here is a picture of her on the last morning she slept in her crib. We told her she wasn't going to sleep in her crib anymore because she was now a "BIG girl"! I think she really brought into it!
Now we have about 7 more weeks until Baby Baier moves into the crib...can't wait!

Growing up Girls

It's hard to believe Addison is 3 1/2 already and Ella is turning 2 this summer already! We are enjoying the warm Spring and sunshine. Addison is getting ready for her recital at the end of April. We are all getting ready to be a family of five in less than 2 months! Over Spring Break, Ella will be transitioning to her "big girl bed". Say some prayers as Addison and Ella will be sharing a room:) We'll keep you posted as to how that goes! There are both great sleepers and we hope that continues as they are roomies!
