Fun with the Girls

Winter has been passing us by quickly. Addison is taking swimming lessons which she really enjoys. Ella continues to keep growing and entertaining us with her new tricks. Now that she's 7 months she is saying "Da da da ..." among other things and has a sweet little "voice" which she loves talking to us with. She is eating real food now like bread, fruits and veggies She just started to stand by herself while holding onto things this past week! The girls really still are (maybe in the honeymoon phase???) of loving to "play" with each other. We started giving them baths together. That is fun for both of them and cuts the time of bathing them in half too (bonus for Larry and I too)! Another time saver is Addison has been wearing "big girl undies"since Christmas break and just wears her pull-ups at night...although the other day she managed to put Ella's diaper on her and ran around saying, "I'm a baby!" Never a dull moment these days!

6 Months Old

Now that Ella is six months old, she has turned into (in Addison's eyes anyways), her favorite real-life doll! The two girls really can "play" together...now that includes just about everything from Ella pulling Addison's hair (sometimes a little hard before we can catch her) to "playing in a band with Ella-Bo" (as Addison refers to it)...and everything else I haven't covered! They are both at fun stages and it is fun watching them interact so much with each other.

In the bottom picture (in case you can't tell - but I think you'll be able to), Ella is on the right at 6 months and Addi is on the left. We just had to do the same pose with the same cute tutu when we had her pictures taken. Other than the fact Ella weighs 2 more pounds than Addison did at 6 months, they both have some similar features. Ella's hair is starting to turn lighter and her eye color is changing too.

Our Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas and look forward to a great 2011!

Ella

Fun Times

Ella loves playing with all of Addison's dolls (mainly because that's what Addison loves to share with her). It's cute...

Then we're working on the potty training with Addison. As you can see, she's mastered putting them on (her head that is)! She's getting there but not quite there yet! She's sure got the spirit though!

5 months old!

"Little" Ella is now 5 months old! She is an eating machine-she just keeps growing and growing and doesn't seem like she's our "baby" anymore - but we still call her "Our Baby Ella" (as Addi once used to)! She has fun playing in all her play toys and has recently started eating rice cereal-yummy-she loves eating (I repeat!) Addison is especially excited to see Ella sit up! Addison gets pretty excited about all the new things that Ella does but watch out Addison-soon she'll be into your toys!!! Then life might get real interesting!

Halloween Fun

We had a bumble bee bzzz'ing around and a kitty purring in our house for Halloween. Addison wasn't a big fan of the scary costumes or masks but was determined to keep Trick-or-Treating because as she said, "Get more candy!" Ella was a trooper and loved being bundled in her costume all cozy and warm as we went around the neighborhood.

Addison had a Halloween party with our Mom's Group/friends. They are friends we met at the hospital when she was born and we all still get together with the kids and just the Mom's too (alone at times). It is really fun-all the kids are about 2 years old (within 2 months of each other).
