Addi Counting Bubbles

Addison thought it was the most hilarious thing to watch me blow bubbles with gum. She kept counting over and over again to encourage me to do it just one more time! It was very funny to hear her deep belly laughing about it!

10 Little Fingers, 10 Little Toes...

10 little fingers, 10 little toes, looks like we're having a healthy little GIRL!
We had our 20 week ultrasound on March 18, 2010. Our little girl was super active and healthy and definitely had the girls parts! She weighed just 13 ounces today which is the exact measurement she should be for her expected due date of approximately August 2nd! We can't wait to meet our little girl and also introduce her to big sister, Addison in August! The pictures don't capture everything, but it was so precious seeing all of her little "poses" today during the ultrasound!

Winter Fun

Addison's new favorite activity is sledding. She had a fun time with her cousins, Craig and Claudia this past weekend on their homemade sledding hill. She loves just walking around in the snow, falling down, and eating it! When it's time to come in, she's not happy, she wants to keep playing!

Addison is going to have a little ???

We had a 13 ultrasound today. We got great news, the baby looks like he/she is perfectly healthy! The ultrasound technician also said the baby was cooperating very nicely (even though the baby was moving around lots) and she was "quite" sure she could determine the sex.

After getting lots of good views, our ultrasound technician really thinks it's a girl!!! Addison is going to love having a little sister (or brother too if that's the case!) We will be going back for our next ultrasound on March 18 though so we'll find out more then.

Addison has exciting news to share!

Addison was a bit surprised initially and as happy as we were when she took a call from our Dr. When she was told the pregnancy test was positive, she was thinking (as you can clearly see in the photo), "AH, I'm going to be a BIG SISTER, WOW, I can't even wait 6 more months!" Then it sunk in, "Oh no, I'll have to share my time with Mom and Dad and with this little sister or brother...hum AND my toys! I'm not sure about this but I'll try my best!" Then she felt she needed to read up on how to be a big sister...She's all set now! (Hee, hee...)

We feel so blessed and are once again amazed we are going to be a growing family! Our new addition will be arriving in early August and we look forward to the exciting adventure and are especially excited for Addison to be able to have a sibling. If her dolls are any indication of how much she loves "babies," she'll (for the most part I believe) be loving it too as they will be only 23 months apart!

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas. Addison enjoyed opening up her gifts (really excited about just ripping the paper) and had a few "wow" moments. She would open up her presents and say, "WOW!" Lately she has been talking more and more which is fun because you can see her little personality come out even more.

When she visited Santa she was speechless though. No tears but just a look on her face like Santa just told her she was on the naughty list! (hee-hee...)

Addi's a Model

Larry's aunt submitted some photos of Addison to a catalog, Exposures. We found out she made it into the Holiday catalog. Her photo was displayed on a water bottle on page 3.
