Addison can check it off her Summer bucket list....

Addison learned how to ride her bike without training wheels! She has been trying HARD all summer. She would literally fall off her bike 15-20 times in a row (without crying or complaining) and get back up and say, "That's okay, I'll just try again..." Well she got the balance and speed put together finally and took off about 2 weeks ago without help! Then the next day we went on a trail to a nearby park (which crosses water) and she rode 1 mile each way (there and back). This girl is a go-getter:)

High Cliff Camping / Fun at Mulberry Farm with the Sewacki Family

The Sewacki Family talked us into going camping with them this year and we were so happy we did! The girls really had so much fun (and we did too)! Lauren and Karla went home at night (as we just stayed at High Cliff State Park, only 15 min from home) so we cheated a little. We visited the Mulberry Lane Farm in addition to the other fun camping activities we took in. The girls only complaint was that we didn't stay long enough:)

Wonder Lake

Larry's high school buddy, Pete and his family met us (as 4 families were coming from 4 different states) in Wonder Lake, IL (not far from Lake Geneva). We rented a lake house and it was lots of fun for everyone. The girls enjoyed playing-there were a total of six kids, all girls! Ella and Addison said we need to move back to "Our Lake House" as they were referring to it:)

Ella wore her goggles all day!

This thing was called the "Relaxation Station" - the girls loved jumping off it!

Awesome sunsets!!!

Addison's favorite part...learning how to operate her kayak!

Our family with Larry rowing without incident  (good thing there were no photos of me needing a rescue to get in!)

Tis the Season, Packer Training Camp Season that is!

Addison and Ella had a special date morning with me to the Packers Training Camp! While it wasn't quite as "crazy fun" as the days of Donald Driver at Training Camp, it was still quit memorable. Each year I get such a kick out of how the girls get into the spirit of being a Packer fan more and more. (They aren't up to my level of excitement yet but I'm sure someday that will happen too!)

Addison and Ella both went up to Mark Murphy, the President of the Green Bay Packers and introduced themselves! He was very nice and posed for a photo with them as well. We actually just "bumped" into him while the girls were playing in the kids zone area (where they have obstacles courses and other kids activities.) I really don't think many others saw him but I happened to look up and there he was and it was a nice opportunity.

They got to high five Clay Matthews along with any other player (most of them) who were giving out high fives to the kids riding past on their bikes.

It was a great day but we did still miss our Donald! Even Ella questioned where he was (when we were watching them practice) two times!

Ballerina Bash!

Ella had a ballerina themed party. She has wanted this theme for the past 3 months or so. She is signed up for dance (a tap/ballet combo class) which starts in the Fall. She can't wait and keeps telling us after her ballerina party then it will start. Well, it may be a long next month waiting...

At any rate she had two fun ballerina parties. One was with playgroup friends at a park and the other was with family. When asked what her favorite part of the party was, in her words with her pronunciation she answered, "My chalk-a-Lot" cake!

She is one very independent little 3 year old who we adore lots!

Even Dad got to join us for the birthday play date with our friends!

A new bike! Lauren was even excited to try it out...

Ella with her cake (which turned out pretty good if you don't look to closely:)

Note the pink lipstick (a gift) she applied prior to this photo, very nice!

Fun at the Farm and Bay Beach

The girls and I met Grandma and Grandpa Mauk at Sundae on the Farm in Chilton (well it was really not in Chilton-closer to Hilbert, I believe...) It was a gorgeous day and we all had lots of cheese, milk, ice-cream and fun!

Larry has off of work for the holiday week so we went to Bay Beach with Aunt Carla and Grandma Katrina. It was another perfect weather day to enjoy all the rides...even Lauren went on some and really got into it! We ended the day with a picnic.
Wondering when she'll get to ride the ponies...

"Look Mom...I'm steering!" (She didn't stand up like Ella had for when she rode the boats the first time, thank goodness!)
