Spring Break 2015

We took a 18 hour road trip to Gulf Shores, AL over Spring Break. We rented a condo with our friends and their girls. We all had a blast....Too many to write about so forgive me for posting a crazy amount of photos.

A quick cat nap for Lauren at dinner when you don't have a 2 year old nap
at all for a week and go to bed 2 hours after their bedtime:)

This was when she finally crashed at 11:00! It was vacation for everyone...anything goes!

Our last morning before we left...sad:(

Our great driver!

Her face says it all-she was supposed to PRETEND to steer the boat-she really did! OHHH BOY!

Fun at the Zoo

The girls favorite thing to do...play in the big waves!

She played in the sand that so much sand accumulated in her bottoms and they weren't staying up so good!

A FROZEN day in Appleton...

Elsa and Anna stopped by Barnes and Noble. The girls enjoyed meeting their favorite Frozen princesses! They also got to read a story with them and color, lots of fun!
Lauren was a little shy but after saying hi asked Anna if she could sit next to her and color!

The girls couldn't stop staring...they were  quite entertained!

Storytime...listening to a "Frozen" story

50th Anniversary!!!

I have to say I'm so sorry I am SO behind on our blog! I believe I went back to school and well, here I am three months later catching my breath...Better late than never...

My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in mid-September! It was a gorgeous fall day that we spent together as a family with my parents, brother, sister and their families. We all went to church, then had our family picture taken and went out for a delicious brunch. Then celebrated with them for the afternoon.

It's hard to believe they have been married 50 years! I remember my grandparents 50th anniversary like yesterday...serving beer (I have a photo to prove that!) We couldn't be more lucky to have them as such great parents. What an awesome milestone:)
