Tis the Season, Packer Training Camp Season that is!

Addison and Ella had a special date morning with me to the Packers Training Camp! While it wasn't quite as "crazy fun" as the days of Donald Driver at Training Camp, it was still quit memorable. Each year I get such a kick out of how the girls get into the spirit of being a Packer fan more and more. (They aren't up to my level of excitement yet but I'm sure someday that will happen too!)

Addison and Ella both went up to Mark Murphy, the President of the Green Bay Packers and introduced themselves! He was very nice and posed for a photo with them as well. We actually just "bumped" into him while the girls were playing in the kids zone area (where they have obstacles courses and other kids activities.) I really don't think many others saw him but I happened to look up and there he was and it was a nice opportunity.

They got to high five Clay Matthews along with any other player (most of them) who were giving out high fives to the kids riding past on their bikes.

It was a great day but we did still miss our Donald! Even Ella questioned where he was (when we were watching them practice) two times!

Ballerina Bash!

Ella had a ballerina themed party. She has wanted this theme for the past 3 months or so. She is signed up for dance (a tap/ballet combo class) which starts in the Fall. She can't wait and keeps telling us after her ballerina party then it will start. Well, it may be a long next month waiting...

At any rate she had two fun ballerina parties. One was with playgroup friends at a park and the other was with family. When asked what her favorite part of the party was, in her words with her pronunciation she answered, "My chalk-a-Lot" cake!

She is one very independent little 3 year old who we adore lots!

Even Dad got to join us for the birthday play date with our friends!

A new bike! Lauren was even excited to try it out...

Ella with her cake (which turned out pretty good if you don't look to closely:)

Note the pink lipstick (a gift) she applied prior to this photo, very nice!

Fun at the Farm and Bay Beach

The girls and I met Grandma and Grandpa Mauk at Sundae on the Farm in Chilton (well it was really not in Chilton-closer to Hilbert, I believe...) It was a gorgeous day and we all had lots of cheese, milk, ice-cream and fun!

Larry has off of work for the holiday week so we went to Bay Beach with Aunt Carla and Grandma Katrina. It was another perfect weather day to enjoy all the rides...even Lauren went on some and really got into it! We ended the day with a picnic.
Wondering when she'll get to ride the ponies...

"Look Mom...I'm steering!" (She didn't stand up like Ella had for when she rode the boats the first time, thank goodness!)

Mmmm, strawberries!!!

Addison and Ella went strawberry picking. I am quite sure they ate more than they picked (as the workers were encouraging them to eat more and get dirty)! Lauren and Dad reaped the benefits as well and enjoyed them! We may have to go back again as the girls really enjoyed the wagon ride out through the muddy filled trails just as much as the strawberry picking.

Nothing says love like...

A brownie decorated with lots of sprinkles and icing with a few fingerprints too!
Larry enjoyed his treats!

Happy Father's Day to Grandpa Mauk, Grandpa Baier and Dad!

Wisconsin Dells Family Trip/Birthday Celebrations

We went to the Dells with my sister and brother and their families. Almost every June we do this fun trip with our families to celebrate my niece's birthday and now Lauren's birthday too! The girls especially enjoyed spending time with their cousins celebrating and swimming.
Pretending to blow out their candles (as we forgot them:)

Breakfast time - cake as dessert!!!

The girls were making monkey sounds!

Lauren liked being pushed in the swing by Ella

Ella and Courtney in the hot tub

Claudia and Addison in the hot tub

Addison went down a huge water slide for the first time and loved it!

She fell asleep the day before in the lazy river on Larry's chest (no photo)...

Look Whooooo is Turning One! (Party #1)

We celebrated with the Baier Families and Grandma and Grandpa Mauk on Sunday with an Owl themed party. Lauren really enjoyed opening up her gifts-she especially liked the "reading" the cards! (She really took her time looking at them-the other girls liked the wrapping paper and could have cared less about the cards:)

She smiled and loved being sang to while we sang to her but was a bit hesitant to "dig into" her birthday cake. After a bit of time, Addison and Ella taught her how to eat her cake but well, she really wasn't interested. (How could she be related to me and NOT like chocolate?!?)

We will celebrate with the rest of our family next weekend in the Dells with party number two!
